Dr. Rohwer provides most usual dental services as your typical dental office. This includes the simple stuff such as cleanings, check up exams, fillings, etc. But there is also differences.
Most crowns are performed using a CAD/CAM milling machine called a CEREC. There are beautiful full porcelain crowns done to match the color and shape of your teeth and to look natural. They are done in a single visit, which means to temporary crown is needed, nor is there a need for a messy dental impression.
Dr. Rohwer has the technology to place computer guided dental implants. This allows for virtual placement in a 3-D radiograph. This helps reduce complications, decrease pain and discomfort following surgery, and ensure that the implant and be restored properly.
Dr. Rohwer has diagnostic wax-ups done before most smile makeovers done with veneers or crowns. This decreases complications and allows for an evaluation of the smile on the patients before the finals restorations are placed. Essentially it allows the patient to see the potential results and make changes before the final smile is completed.
Three levels of sedation are also available for patients dependent on their needs. Nitrous Oxide (laughing gas) for the slightly nervous, oral conscious sedation for the moderately nervous, and IV sedation for the patient who is very phobic of dental work.
